PROFILE
I am a registered nurse with a PhD in Project Management and a Master of Nursing Degree.
As a health communication consultant, I craft, script, and refine informational tools for industry clients, healthcare groups, and public audiences.
My deliverables include manuscripts, abstracts, research briefs, posters, public-facing brochures, client-facing training materials, conference proceedings, strategic plans, and health improvement proposals to name a few. These communication materials are designed to keep a range of audiences abreast of the latest developments in the healthcare field.
Clinically, I have two decades of acute care nursing experience, with a specialty in cardiology. My experience is gained from diverse environments across the globe, including South Africa, the UK, USA, Canada, and Europe, in roles that involve the promotion of evidence-based practice by developing, implementing, and sustaining innovative solutions to ongoing problems.
My writing experience and therapy areas extend beyond this to a range of topics including chronic and rare diseases, pharmacokinetics, market research, biosimilar research, CMC studies, satisfaction studies, preventative healthcare, clinical practice guidelines, business cases, policy documents, patient and provider education & e-learning, and clinical pathways.
HIGHLIGHTS
My objective is to advance healthcare practice through research, leadership, and collaboration. My priority is to deliver high-quality health improvement written resources that are based on evidence and relevant to practice.
I bring enthusiasm and experience to the table and have mastered managing complex clinical and writing projects while collaborating with multidisciplinary groups and balancing competing priorities. I leverage excellent interpersonal, organization, and communication skills, and have the ability to manage heavy workloads, tight deadlines, and complex decisions.
